About The Founder

The AnTye Bullying Campaign was born out of the heart of Grammy Award–winning artist Tye Tribbett, who has always believed that music is more than sound—it’s a message. Throughout his career, Tye has used his platform to inspire hope, faith, and joy. But as he connected with audiences around the world, he also began to hear heartbreaking stories from young people struggling with the pain of bullying.

Many shared how words, exclusion, and harassment had left them feeling broken, unseen, and even questioning their worth. These stories hit Tye deeply. Having walked through his own seasons of rejection, misunderstanding, and pressure growing up, he knew firsthand the silent battles young people face when they feel like they don’t belong.

Moved with compassion and conviction, Tye founded the AnTye Bullying Campaign—a movement to confront bullying head-on and to let youth know they are loved, valued, and never alone. The campaign exists to educate communities, empower young people to speak up, and equip families with real solutions to build safe, supportive spaces. For Tye, AnTye isn’t just a campaign—it’s a calling to lift a generation above hate with the power of respect, love, and resilience.
